Pastor Brian's Testimony
Growing up, I struggled with abuse and subsequently turned to drugs to numb the pain in my life. At the age of 15, I came close to death when I tried ending my own life. For most of my adult life, I was a hostage to depression and anxiety, shuttling in and out of hospitals.
God had other plans! Once I was born again, God put a message on my lips and a song in my heart.
I went to Western Michigan Teen Challenge, a Bible bootcamp. I was called to preach the Gospel in 1998. I have been blessed with 5 fathers in the faith ho were proven leaders who ho encouraged me to be a diligent student of the Word. I love the Word and the Lord. I understand I am nothing without Him.
I have a wife, Beth, by my side. She has a heart to encourage, mentor, disciple and give advice on family relationships and finances. Together, we make the perfect team! Jesus is having His Way.I've been waiting for the proper time and for God to release this testimony to give God glory because of the miracle worker He is. I did not yet expose this because I wanted it to be at the proper time.In April 2018, I learned that I had stage 3 melanoma cancer. My wife massaged my neck and discovered the discoloration. What are the chances of that happening? Chemo was not an option. I had to have surgery to remove the cancer. The surgical team split my neck open and took all the lymph nodes out on the right side.
Today, I AM CANCER FREE!!To those who agree by faith, thank you for your prayers. Praise the Lord! A lot of you who have been following me throughout the years know that the Lord delivered me from methamphetamine and other drugs.
During my addiction, I weighed 136 pounds, but the Lord had a purpose for my life.
He came in like a flood, delivering me and giving me a new hope! He had been trying to get my attention for years, but I was stubborn, trying to do my things my way.
One Friday night, I ran into a guard rail and, as you can see from the photo (coming soon), I should be dead.
Once again, God showed up and showed off. Glory be to God, I did not have a scratch on me! My wife and dogs were not riding with me like they typically do.
I praise God that, when we think we are nothing, He reveals a purpose for our lives. Glory be to the Lord Jesus Christ! When we trust Him, He is faithful to His Word!
